Now I remember why I didn't like Kuta at all in Bali. It's awful with too much people, the street sellers follow you and try to sell you stuff. Annoying. The sand on the beach isn't white like out in the islands either...But it's just a 10 minute drive from here to the airport so stayed last night here. Was such a great week, have to come back to Gili. If you are planning a trip to Bali, don't stay on the big island, go out to Gili, you will have THE most relaxing and wonderful time.
Gili Trawangan is out here, Sanur is the red pin just below Denpasar. The boat between takes about 6 hours, depending on how long it needs to wait for passangers it picks up on the way

The hotel here was a bit weird, swimmingpool in the middle, there was a bunch of loud kids in it on a sunday morning 6:30, staff didn't say a word to them and they continued playing for 2 hours. It's not like I even want to sleep on a Sunday...
