Arriving at Legoland, it's far south of the city

Ohoy pirates!

 New favourite: Dinosaur
Cool that all benches in Legoland were made from recycled stuff!

Himeji Castle and more sakura!

Himeji castle is a Unesco Heritage landmark as the largest surviving Japanese castle! It's special because of it's total white color compared to any of the other castles. It's also 6 floors high, there are no elevators so we climbed small stairs whole family to get up and down. Had to carry Kaj to get him around the castle but he loved the place! Fell asleep like a rock after we had been around the city. Himeji is about 1 hour ride from Nagoya by train and it's def worth coming here for a day-trip or overnight if you are staying in Nagoya! Food in Himeji would be different kinds of Oden.

Hello Himeji! Take me to your castle

Castle spotted in the horizon!
Lot of people were visiting here for Sakura. Luckily we came just 30 minutes before they were closing up so there wasn't any que to get up
 It's so beautiful!
And on the inside, beautiful dark wood!
View from the top

Castle top courtyard

This place is well equipped for rainy days
How about servenirs?? You couldn't even both to look it up in Google how to write it?

Nagoya and more Sakura magic

First time to Nagoya, other than airport transfer! We had an event in the city and also stayed for the weekend after to explore a bit. Was worried that I would not see any Sakura this year because so much traveling during the peak time but was luckily wrong! It was perfect time to come see the castle here. Special food in Nagoya: Chicken wings and tonkatsu with miso sauce!

Travel in Japan is always best done on Shinkansen 300km/h. There are trains between Tokyo and Nagoya every 10 minutes!! Amazing Japan
Hello Nagoya!
Evening run the first day, sakura by night

Nagoya is probably most famous for it's 400 years old castle. And what a perfect time of the year to see it with the blooming trees

The old castle moat was impressive

Some meat sushi for the first time
And actual sashimi at this one shop that was specialised in Tuna
Convention center looked pretty futuristic
Hello from the team
Had my hotel room on the 58th floor, seldom get rooms this high!
Pork with miso, very good but so full after a heavy meal like this

Jaihoo Hyderbad

First trip to India this year! A few days in Hyderbad to join the annual meeting of our local partner. Was really great to meet all the familiar faces and see the amazing team spirit. Also got to do a bit of sightseeing to a palace I hadn't been to before. The history in Hyderbad is very rich!

Once again liftoff from Tokyo. Only 3 more of these before gone until unknown time.
A quick 4 hour transfer in Bangkok with Mikko. Food on the rooftop!
How I love this city, Bangkok is like no other...
We had the event at a resort far away from city center. Took 1.5 hours to get here from the airport. Had a little pool on my yard but it wasn't very fresh....Also found a gecko in my room.
Namaste!
And some awards to the management
The Charminar! Landmark of Hyderbad

The market around Charminar is def very vibrant
A bit of Hyderbad skyline
Chowmahalla Palace is also a place worth visiting
Old owner had a thing for Rolls Royce cars

 Door door door door
 Love the arch
Falaknuma palace! The jewel of Hyderbad. It's been voted #2 most beautiful palace in the world right after Versailles. Amazing place which is a must visit if you are in town. Food is fantastic too.
Arriving as royalties

Dinner in the palace, lobster!

When lightning strikes, timing is everything!
Last night, out to check a local Hyderbad brewery. Really nice beers! Thanks Krishna
