G'day mate, it's good to be back Sydney!

Took a night flight to Sydney from Haneda, almost exactly 5 years since I came for the first time here on my 30th birthday! I admire the laidback culture Aussies have. No one wears very formal clothes to work, people are always cheerful and food is great. And the nature! Amazing Sydney beaches and hiking options. Explored a lot of the city with new half electric powered bikes. Really nice to go around with them and at the same time get some exercise.

Thanks for the upgrade Sheraton, stayed here the first night
Our tripple balcony had a pretty sweet view of Hyde Park
Could get used to living here!
There was a protest in the park. Ravers want government to arrange free testing of their drugs at festivals so they don't use anything dangerous. Unlikely to pass this bill is my guess
Lot of portable Dj stations were playing pretty nice techno here

Queen Victoria House is always as pretty
We went to Star Wars exhibition, was nice to see all the old-school stuff! And do some heavy breathing with Darth

Close up with Han

Our characters didn't really end up like we wanted, and we did some poor choices making them
Evening snack at Harry De Wheels. Most famous hot dogs and mash in Sydney!

Found a dragon next to Harrys hotdogs
Second day took a hike around whole Manly and Fairfax lookout point. Too bad it was cloudy but still gorgeous here
Spiders were almost the size of my hand, biggest I've seen. And they are just waiting for someone to walk into their nets.
Spider man, Spider man!
Also found this wildlife at Manly
A big fire destroyed big parts in Australia last year
It's a long way down from Fairfax lookout point

Prison island from the past
Wish it would have been sunny but still a beautiful view
Stopped by at Luna Park at night, Henkka stealing some trash
Surry Hills at night
Luna Park at night, creepy?
Real nice craft beer bar in Surry Hills!
Oldest bar and hotel in Sydney - Lord Nelsons

Gordons Bay, wish I would have had time to just sit here and chill the whole day
Dolphin Point, taking a walk from Coogee to Bondi beach

 One big outdoor pool!

Stayed at Pier One hotel rest of the nights, really nice next to Harbour Bridge
Breakfast at Pier One had amazing choice of berries
Palisade hotel bar has an amazing view and good choice of craft beers!
Also had to work this trip, Nestles Pacific HQ in Sydney is amazing!
Nescafe at Nestle was as expected good

Another evening of riding around with the bikes!

Space aliens have arrived
 Sydney night glow!

Reunited in Tokyo!

Hede came for a third time to Tokyo! This time only 36 hours but we managed to get around the city a bit. Also had some guests from Sweden so it was a busy week, out everyday and night. Really want to get into normal routines in February again and start going to gym daily. Too much eating, too much drinking and not much moving (the cold weather in Tokyo doesn't really help.

Walking around Ikebukuro, found lot of cool shops and this temple. Best ramen I ever had in same area!
Prayers for good child birth to Henkkas coming twins
This lady is making sure your prayers are heard?
This massive tree was hundreds of years old! Must have seen a lot of things
Glasses, LOTS of glasses. They also claim to have most and cheapest in Japan. Yepp I can buy that statement
Ikebukuro art
Visiting One Piece and Naruto themed indoor park in Ikebukuro, wasn't really that good but we got some good laughs

Lunch at the BEST ramen place there is. At least so far haven't found anything better
Out in Odaiba in the beautiful weather and to Team Labs
One BIG root
Team Labs
R3d Room

Ghost walkers
Second visit to Team Labs, discovered some new rooms I totally missed when we had Kaj with us in December, maybe that's not so strange.
 Gorgeous Tokyo from Shinagawa
Our Swedish guests and me got some sasimi raw chicken again at this one special Yakitori place in Ginza. Only 1 country where you can drink the tap water and eat raw chicken and be totally fine. Taste is great!

Love driving in Tokyo, no traffic just lot of red lights
Some amazing Teppanyaki next to Shinagawa station at Katsura Steak House

Kobe beef coming up
Yurakuchou station where I change my morning train when going to office. What a nice day!!
 Amazing lunch at Tsukiji!

The Tsukiji market is just next to the bridge at the far left, love the view from home
Going to BBQ to ShinOkubo. Stopped by from some fried potatoes with melted cheese inside. Awesome stuff! Very filling though

We also went to Eat as much meat as you can. Came rolling our of Gyukaku after it. Probably has this times 4x total
Found some of our products in pharmacy here, looks messy!
Senso-ji temple in Asakusa
