Football Championship

The Chinese are much more into football than people back in Finland. In todays paper 20% of all employers are worried that their staff will be less efficient this incoming month because people are expected to stay awake until 4 a'clock in the morning watching the match.

They put up a huge sign in downtown for the event just next to one of Beijings most known hotel. The fountain outside the hotel looks really beautiful in the evening when it's lit up like a candle from inside.
There is a thunderstorm in Beijing today, can hear the thunders outside and see the lightnings jumping around from the skyline view I have home, it's COOOOL! Got really wet when walking to the gym, pre-shower before the workout. It turned out to be a great day to go to the gym because it was almost totally empty. Usually it's really crowded, sweaty and smelly but today it was like good old Luottokuntas private gym! The rain, incoming holiday and football match kept people home.
This week I had work on saturday and sunday but next weeks Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday are free! It's one of Chinas national holidays and its celebrated by eating special kind of rice packed into a grass looking shell. I'll come back to this later...
