Apartment quality in China is crap

The place where I live is mostly populated by well off locals or foreigners because the rent is over 4500 RMB a month and the average salary in Beijing is about 3000-4000 RMB. You can do the math.
Anyway, even though I'm living in a "fancy" place like this it's not build too well.

First of all the front door. There is nothing keeping noise/sound from being hear by the people outside or for that matter, inside. So everything people say in here will be head in the whole hallway. It's often windy in Beijing so those days you can feel a breeze of air in the flat.
Second, the shower. The architect who designed the bathroom has probably never taken a shower himself. The water from the shower floats out from it because there is notting stopping it from coming out. AND there is no "air-gap" for the door so it's starts sucking up all the water making it expand like a balloon. The door has already expanded so much that it can barely move anymore.
Third. The paint they've used must be the cheapest crap I've seen because it peals of by ITSELF! By the window a lot of the paint has started peeling off like you can see. It's probably because it might be a little moisty just next to the window and someone didn't bother using waterproof paint...
