Again to Manzhouli

Something came up again and I'm back in Manzhouli. Last week it was -30 degrees but luckiy only about -10 in the day and -20 in the night now. It's been snowing a little but most of the time the weather has been super clear. As clear blue sky as we have in Finland. Nothing like smoggy Shanghai or Beijing.

This is just 15 minutes out of Beijing to the north, rocky!
I left Shanghai late in the night at 22 and arrive at my hotel in Beijing after 1.30. Had to get up 6 am next morning for the Manzhouli flight so sleep was very minimum. Horrible morning! The airport hotel was build 1979 and a Chinese hotel build at that time is NOT very awesome. The shower made more noise than Slipknot ever has...Also had a funny menu in the hotel. Pantyhose? :D

But be how it may, Manzhouli is still in my Top 5 cities of China. It's clean, food is awesome, it's quiet and buildings are beautiful.

Half a chicken, home made potatoes and yummy pickles. All this for 6 euros
Russian caviar, goooood stuff!
Staying at Shangri-La again because this is the only place where they have a gym and sauna. Besides the price is 1/3 of what it is in Shanghai or Beijing to live here. Cheaper than an average hotel in Helsinki btw. Come to Manzhouli and have a relaxing weekend! I can see the Russian boarder from my room, took a widescreen picture.

Sunny day!
Sun is setting...
Normal shots of day and evening
Looks like some small fairy town...and kinda feels like that too
The reason I came here was because of the following product. Had to come and see that everything is in order with the product and no damage. Everything turned out fine with it but it's sometimes really hard to deal with Chinese partners when they can't say anything straight. People in China, please learn to speak clearly and don't bullshit if you don't know something!
And there we have Russia again, behind the fence
Madskillz at at backing out of the warehouse, 2 cm from the wall!
The warehouse dogs came to say hi again. I was told they will grow up to 1 m tall.
