Another quick trip came up to Manzhouli again and that always means a stop by in Beijing. The traffic was worse than normally but if you’ve lived in Beijing before it’s good to know to avoid taxis because of the traffic jam. Took the express line from airport straight to Dongzhimen and arrived at the hotel about 30 minutes after the plane had landed. This is by far the fastest and cheapest way to get into downtown. Only 25 rmb one way, so if your plane doesn’t land at midnight always take the express.
Good that there is a sign for this...
Since it was Valentine’s Day whole Sanlitun was totally packed or flower sellers and balloon sellers. The Beijing subway also reached a record time high amount of passengers this day. Luckily I didn't use it because the pictures from the newspaper look horrible. Kinda forgot to take pictures of the whole evening in the middle of all the hassle. But it seemed that all young people from Beijing came out for this occasion to dine or have a drink.
