Happy Valentines Day

Weekends always fly by...Suddenly it's Friday and then Monday again, time just seem to pass faster abroad than back in Finland for some reason. Went to see a basketball game and met some up with some old friends I haven't seen for a long time.
Something I've never seen outside a shopping mall before here...
The bund, just 2 minute walk from the main street you find rubble like this
Those lovely brunches with champagne
Old European church next to the bund
After the basketball game we went to have an "aftergame" beer at the local sports bar called Camel. They have a TV in the toilet. This would be cool to add to a sauna back home! Wonder if it can take heat as well...
A few weeks ago there was a guy who robbed a bank and shot some police men. It's the same
perpetrator who robbed a few bank in the beginning of 2000 and now he done it again. He is an ex special forces guy and is trained to disguise himself and therefore has not been caught yet. The chinese media said that currently there are 13.000 policemen looking after him and there are wanted posters everywhere. If you have a clue of his whereabouts that will lead to an arrest the chinese government will give you over 10.000 Euros (or so they say). Posters like this can be found in every street corner in the whole Shanghai region. They probably printed a few millions of these and still not a sign of the guy. Modern John Rambo...
Valentines day in China is much more important than in Finland. You HAVE to give flowers etc and take out your gf (if you have one) here. There are also a lot of single parties arranged tomorrow. My email flooded with different kinds of dinners and parties for this day specially...
So many shops have thousands of flowers packed and sent tomorrow morning.
