Driving around Shanghai

Weekend was really nice and warm so it was time to take out the scooter for a run for the first time in the city. Driving from my place to the Bund only takes about 20 minutes, love the warm 30 degree air in my hair while all the Chinese are going "Look look! Laowai (chinese word for westerners) driving a scooter!" People everywhere, like always on weekends. Stay home if you can in China on weekends!
Past the Bund and the oldest bridge in Shanghai which was build 1906. Still looks pretty much as it did over 100 years ago!
The Bund aka "French Concession" is full of old buildings build by the foreigners back in the days when Shanghai was a trade hub before the Communist party took over 1949.
Although Shanghai is modern some people still live in poor conditions here.
