The apartment prices are still rising even though the government is trying to stop it. Property in China is vital, specially if you want to get married. If a guy don't have an apartment in China he will have a REALLY hard time to find a Gf or wife. A car is also good to have to make your odds higher...
Outside all bigger cities they have started developing these huge areas with new apartments. It takes about 1 hour to go into the city but a lot of people choose to do that. They are building so many new Metro lines to these areas. Prices can still be very high, they were all around 4000-6000 Euros per square meters! That's the same or more than Helsinki and people's salaries here are on an average 500-800 Euros a month. I don't really understand how they can afford these places....
