Monkey Island & Yokosuka US Naval Base

Just around 1 hour south of Tokyo you will reach a huge US Military Navy base  in a city called Yokosuka. Yokosuka has a street with bars and restaurant to cater for the hungry soldiers! Took a massive Trump Burger in the night at Tsunami Burgers. Good stuff, massive patty, peanut butter, bacon and egg. Was strange to see so many soldiers with uniforms walking around the streets in the evening! Did not feel like we were in Japan.

Hello Kitty Hawk! One big ship!

And accompanying 2 subs

Republicans eat well here

Incoming heart attack
Like being somewhere in US
Beer me up

Like being deep south, still having confederation flags visible

Found this artistic manhole cover in Yokosuka, love the efforts they make on these in Japan!

Also went to see the ship that was part of the fleet that sank a Russian fleet in 1905. It was the first time an Asian country had become victorious over any "western" nation. Way to go General Togo!

Set sails and shoot away!

Reason we passed this military area was the techo party arranged on Monkey Island! The Japanese name of the island is Sarushima. Never thought I would actually go to Monkey Island. It used to be my favourite game back in the days, adventures with Guybrush Treepwood! Computer games were made different back then!
The sunset at Monkey Island was absolutley amazing. Cool techno music as well, first outdoor party like this I've been to in Japan. And tickets were less than 20 euros!

Been waiting to go to a store and buy a STRONG. It's like Finnish lonkku but 9%. Perfect to have a few ice cold ones when it's 30 degrees outside and party about to start. Love the new design too.
Monkey Island here we come!
Could not have been a more perfect day

Music was really good
And sunset 10/10

Hede, was too bad we missed this place when you were here.
