Macao - Asia's Vegas

Second time I come here now and a lot of new fancy hotels build here! This little island is just about party and fun. There are a few attractions to see like the old fort on the hill and the old ruins of a Portugese church follwed by some other churches and cool looking western buildings here in the heart of Asia.

We stayed in a super awesome hotel called GALAXY. Price is not cheap buy you really get what you pay for! The hotel is as big as a city in Finland. There is everything under one roof. Huge casino, shopping of very high brand stuff and restaurants and cafes all over. The buffee we had at the hotel was so good we almost died of over eating. They also had a huge swimming pool on the roof with a beach. The pool had a wave machine running, was a really great place. Didn't wanna destroy my camera so no pics from it...

Checking out the room

Limo service for high rollers at the hotel :)
This is a map of the hotel only....
FOOOOOD!

Some sightseeing around town to see the old cathedral that burned down about 150 years ago or so. The fram survived and is one of the main attractions in the city.

The fort on the hills as a nice place with actual cannons from 17th century kept well intact.
BAM! And down goes the Venetian Casino

Tree on top of the fort...Gondor?
Taichi on the top on the fort, looked like they never done it before
Hyper modern casinos and old small shacks...
On the way up to the fort you can take off your shoes and do the ultimate feet test. There are hundreds of small round stones in the ground. When walking on them it "should be good for your health" but actually it hurts like hell...Maybe it worked, maybe not but no hangover was present the day after.
Walking around downtown looks like this...Asia? It's like opening a gate to Europe
Lots of churches build by the portugese back in the days
 Remind you of anything?
By the ferry area they build a whole colosseum with shops and bars...

Casino at the hotel, 100€, put it all on BLACK!
Just 5 minutes before the monsoon rain started
 Heavy rain!
Sunset was very nice indeed
Awww jeaaaaaah

In the evening we went to see the famous Water Show. It was a huge water arena with amazing water performance. The stage was super high tech, they were able to fill the pool in no time and empty it as well. The stage also changed many times while the 2 hour show was on. If you go to Macao this is a must see! It begins at 17.00 and 20.00 in City Of Dreams Hotel.
