Out in the Archipelago - Pelling

Hottest summer I ever experienced! Also no wind what so ever! It's never like this here. If Finland was like this everyday or even half the year I could almost consider moving back someday. 31 degrees in the archipelago isn't something you see more than a few times during your whole life. Also, it was absolutely windless as well and we were lucky enough to be there during a day when Klovharun was open, Tove Janssons island (Mumin Creator)

Stefan made some Okonomiyaki, probably biggest of it's kind!
Well past midnight and still this much light
Benits Saturday market, awesome fish and local food here

We had to burn some branches away from the 100+ trees that were cut last autumn. Kept it going for 4 days and a week later it was still smoking! Fire walk with me

 Kaj trying our the swing
Family time :)
 Another amazing night

 Skål to this beauty

Lottas place has a fantastic view
The sea hasn't moved for 2 days. 6 am reflections were amazingly clrear
It's NEVER this calm here - Tirmo ferry

 Out towards Tove Janssons Klovharu
The mysterius Klovharun in the middle of the sea. No trees or running water. Stay alive!

Bye bye, hope we could visit someday again
Borgå Old Town, on the way to the cottage
