Barceloooonaaaa!

Frist time I started thinking about going to Barcelona was when I started to listen to Queen, must have been 14 years or so. That's a looong time ago and finally got the chance and time to go. Heard about Gaudi before but never really checked into his works. I was amazed by the details and design he has! Barcelona however is super overcrowded with tourists, avoid summers if you can!

Took the train out to Monserrat on the second day afternoon. Was pretty grey and sucky weather when going and we thought it would be a bad day for pics. But! Once we got to the top it cleared out. If Gondor was a real place, it would be here! Exactly like I imagined from the Lord of the Ring books.

Food was fantastic and we really enjoyed our time in Catalonia.

Barcelona incoming, can even see our hotel!
 San Sebastian beach, mine!

Mmmmm cold cuts!
The only 25 minutes had time to chill on the beach
 One perfect day!!
What a view W hotel! What a view! Skål!
 Our first tapas yumyum
 Lot of choices
Was the most gothic and cool in that sense church I've been to
Top of the world! From Barcelona cathedral rooftop
I asked for a salad and he gave me this. Awesome!
Love the fresh juices and food at the marketplace close to Las Ramblas
All the candy in the world
Nom nom nom snacks
Head up from Barcelona station, you will not regret!

 Day trip out to Monserrat
Super cool inner courtyard by the monastery
Light a color for a loved one
 Gondor!

Subway sales, was like China 10 years ago! Tons of fake products
 Gaudis Casa Batllo, amazing house
 Very cool chimney chilling area
He really had his own style
Roof of Casa Batllo was something else

 Why...yea why ??
 Someone's been folding
The man who didn't care what anyone said, just decided to do the impossible. Columbus you were an awesome person.
Welcome to the wax museum, creepy dolls in the windows
Park Guell, another work of Gaudi

And the masters home, just a few hundred meter from the park. This is where he slept for 20 years
St John's hospital. From all the hospitals I visited around the world, this was by far the most pleasant thing to watch
Last but not least, the longest modern time building project. Should be done by 2026 and has then been build for 100 years. I'll be back to see it, until then bye bye Sagrada de la Familia and Barcelona
Inside it's unlike any place you've seen...
