Frist time I started thinking about going to Barcelona was when I started to listen to Queen, must have been 14 years or so. That's a looong time ago and finally got the chance and time to go. Heard about Gaudi before but never really checked into his works. I was amazed by the details and design he has! Barcelona however is super overcrowded with tourists, avoid summers if you can!
Took the train out to Monserrat on the second day afternoon. Was pretty grey and sucky weather when going and we thought it would be a bad day for pics. But! Once we got to the top it cleared out. If Gondor was a real place, it would be here! Exactly like I imagined from the Lord of the Ring books.
Food was fantastic and we really enjoyed our time in Catalonia.

St John's hospital. From all the hospitals I visited around the world, this was by far the most pleasant thing to watch
Last but not least, the longest modern time building project. Should be done by 2026 and has then been build for 100 years. I'll be back to see it, until then bye bye Sagrada de la Familia and Barcelona
