All roads lead to Rome! Few days in Bari

Nice with a work trip outside of Asia! Seldom get the chance to go to new European countries or Cities but this week in Bari is really something I looked forward. Never spent a night in Bari before so this was a new place in my list.

In Bari there was too much good food and cheese! I'm not saying this as a bad thing :) After one of the dinners I thought I would explode. Really can't beat the Italian bread, pasta and coffee. Too. Good!

Dinner at Rome airport was amzing! Had a transfer long enough to sit down a bit.
Jetlag morning in Bari, always nice to fly west because you get up 4 or 5 am.
Sat down here for a morning coffee. Amazing.

Very interesting to hear about new developments in the probiotic world
We also had a pretty nice booth at the event!
Awesome to get a whole delegation from india to come. Too much food we had!!
After the dinner went walking outside the worse food baby off. After 1 hour I still felt like exploding
Assassins creed?
Second morning 6 am run with the dream team

St Nicola Basilica, gorgeous from tip to toe
Quick visit of the Castle of Bari. Not many rooms you could see, nor go out on the walls. Could have been so much nicer and more to see here!
Timeless Bari
Roadtrip to Alberobello - City of white houses

Southern Italy look pretty much like this when you're on top of a hill
Monopoli in the horizon. It's just 7 months since I joined a wedding there.
Continued the roadtrip to Polignano a Mare
Game of Thrones?

Out for some amazing pasta in Old town with good ol' buddy Mr. "KD" Kapila
Breakfast view from my hotel was spot on - Palace Hotel Bari
Great to spend more time with the guy who knows more about BioGaia clinical info. Great pizza! Thanks Krishna for making it all the way, see you next month in Hyderbad!
Had a few hours layover in Rome so decided to have a walk around this old empire. Would have loved to spend more time but maybe this incoming summer. So much childhood memories from this place. We came here a LOT. Check the picture...lot of sculptures right? Look closer to find one staring at you.
