Xidi - Village next to Yellow Mountains

It's the moon-cake festival now so everyone has 1 day extra off next weeks Monday. Roberto organized a trip by bus to go to Yellow Mountains and I found a hotel in a ancient city protected by UNESCO. This city is over 900 years.

Morning started pretty early and had to wake up at 6am to make it to the bus. Traffic was almost non so had some time to get breakfast and a coffee at the bus station KFC. Finland does not actually even have a KFC yet! We had 3 other people who were suppose to come with us but they stayed out partying until about 6 am and missed the bus, hah.
The bus ride took about 6.5 hours and when arriving we went and got tickets back for Monday to Shanghai. It's holiday now here and it would be a drag to notice that when you wanna go back to Shanghai without buying tickets in advance noticing that they were sold out...After the long bus ride we had to take a taxi another 53 km to get to our hotel. Finally after maaany hours on the road we arrive at the beauuuutiful really ancient town. It feels like someone just turned back the time around 1000 years and everything looks just like you could imagine in ancient China.
Few problems when getting into the hotel. The hotel is actually INSIDE the UNESCO site and you need to pay a 104 rmb ticket to get in. We told the guards there is no way we are paying that since we already paid for the hotel inside. So Roberto goes and talk to the manager while we wait outside and settles the thing and we are fine to go even though they start screaming after us NONONONO, whatever.
We settles down in our cozy old rooms that from the outside look old but newly renovated on the inside. The hotel courtyard is huge! And so beautiful. This must be the most amazing hotel I have ever been to.
The breakfast area....Amazing place
After walking around the hotel ground we went looking around in the town and had some food. Everything is cheap, good and fresh here. The air as well, so much better then Shanghai!!

The old well was still in use!
