Little Laos - Another new country for me

A new country for me! After so many years of traveling around Asia finally go to visit this small country in the middle of it all. I didn't really do so much homework exploring what to see in Vientiane. Just google some more visited places and follow that. Restaurants same thing. Hotel was able to rent me a scooter for a  few dollars so it made it easy to check some nearby places.  Uber or Grab does not work in this country and making moving around a bit difficult since all prices needs to be negotiated and no driver would ever try to give a white guy a good price...

Hello and welcome to Vientiane
Flag! Feels like its a mix of other Asian states in one.
Nice temple around the corner from hotel, not really sure what they call it and there was no entry either. Love the roof though
The local transport, didn't have to use this since had my own bike
Nice hotel rooftop but the air was quite smoggy and smoky so wasn't really nice to spend time outdoors.
Found an abandoned dinosaur park with lot of other weird stuff  in it. Who build this and WHY?

Man fighting giant ant?
Laos cruising, traffic almost dead outside rush hour
Drove to a Buddha Stature park, pretty elaborate statues over 100 years old

Like out  of a Ghibli movie
One giant tree and my little bike
GOLD!! They were  playing loud and deep drums around this place, gave a very eerie and cool touch to it

 Paddy fields
Gorgeous gate in the city center, found it by random
Tuktuk waiting, looks like India
Find an Irish bar to help with the heat Lao Beer
And also a Japanese bar full of Japanese and all menus in Japan. Felt like a place in Ginza but prices slashed to a quarter
Night market and it's street food
Rooftop bar drunken elephant had a nice view!
And Get Dunk also knew how to choose bar name. I wonder if they wrote it wrong or meant to be like this
Record collection on Get Dunks wall
And I'm off to the airport. Take a whole 15 min to get there but 30 mins to get a car. Some dragons to celebrate the CNY dances
