Phuket - Happy New Year 2013!!

Wow, so another year pass again and it's time to look back at all the things done last year...For me the things worth mentioning would probably be:

- Started diving
- Moved back to Beijing and became the Branch Manager of our new office
- Stayed in Finland for the longest time in 4 years during the summer (however being sick for 2.5 weeks)
- Worlds tallest Bungee jumped with Hede (was a great trip buddy!!!)
- Visited the worlds coldest capital Ulan Bator and was drinking vodka like a mushroom for 2 weeks in -30

Here are some pictures I took after driving around Phuket 260 km with ym scooter. I can say with confidence that I know the island very well by now!!

New years fireworks were great! Sat on the beach admiring them and thought that why does anyone want to spend a new year in cold Finland when you can sit with slippers and shorts on a beach sipping on an icecold beer...

Top of Phuket hills the giant Buddha statue

Loads of rubber tree plantation, thanks Spencer from Vietnam who once showed me and James how it works
Patong, the tourist trap full of restaurants and shops
New year at the Karon beach with a lot of DJ's and electronic music

Private ride home, took me about 1 hour to find a car
Not a bad view for a afternoon tea.....

 Rawai beach lighthouse

Aochalong Villa and Spa where we stayed, very quiet and peaceful place
