Minglaba! A quick stop in Yangon

2 days in Yangon to prepare an event for next year. In just 1 year since I was here last time the traffic has become terrible and congested. They have banned all motorbikes so there isn't any other option than taking a car. Public transport is only by bus, no ways to reach places without facing the road an waiting. But the city offers lot of cool street food, colonial architecture and a city /  country that is growing at breakneck speed! And, there are no McDonalds in Myanmar yet! Probably one of the only in the world.

Hello Sule Pagoda!
Pool at Shangri-la hotel is nice and empty. Would be great to have some time to chill here
Old  European styled building in the heart of the city, nice for lunch!

Went for a few hours food tour around the city to prepare some things for next year. Ate all kinds of things that I never tried before. Most of it was very good! Thanks Marc for the tour. Yangon by  night
