Here and there Tokyo - Happy new year 2019!

A it late post for happy new year but it's been a busy start of the year!

These last 2 months in Tokyo I had more visitors than during the whole year. Parents one week and best friends 1-2 weeks. Was great to move around the city here and there, there are just so many cool things to see in this city. Living here 3 years is barley enough to see the whole city but at least when leaving in a few months I will have tons of pics and great memories.

 Home sweet home! On a sunny day it's still warm and nice for a run 
 Shibuya Square on NYE, this place is going to get veeeery busy in a few hours. This time decided not to be at countdown here. 
Going to the Meiji shrine has become a bit of tradition on New Years night. All these people are waiting for the year to change to 2019, the first people to make their wish at the temple will have the "best luck". People wait in the cold for hours...Like these

 We decided to go to the Fox new years celebration, and got a mask to go blend in

After about 1 hour of walking in the cold we ended up in a bar to celebrate the night away until 4 am 
First sunrise 2019! Looking forward to many things that will come 2019! Only 4 months till we move to a new country - Singapore. A few new countries I haven't been to are also on the list for this year. 

One new years day pretty much every person in Japan visit temples. Our local Tsukuda temple had a long line

 Our last night out in Tokyo, eat all you can eat meat at Gyu-Kaku 90 minutes. We probably finished half a cow 
Subway empty at 6 am on a Sunday, off to Hanoi!
