Shanghai doesn't have many scenic spots but Yi Yuan is one of the few. The houses here are traditionally Chinese build and the food as well (apart from the 2 starbucks and 3 dairy queens). This place was packed with tourist, the only place where you can see more foreigners than this is a bar or club!
The crown tower in the background has a bar on the 55th floor but it was closed when I went to see today, view from the there is amazing and it has a Jazz band playing live every evening.
Another scenic spot is just around the corner from my flay. It's called the Jing An Temple 净安寺. It's a buddhist temple and when it was Chinese New Year in February it costed 10.000 Euro if you wanted to be the first one to light an incense for good luck.
The city in the night here looks....magical :)
After that took a wonder around the city, found this really small old "traditional" Shanghai alley. The houses look like they might fall apart any second and the apartments look so so small! Kinda reminds me of 2 story Hutongs.
