This year I started the new years eve by going to a restaurant called SALT in Beijing. It's known to have one of the best food in Beijing, it has been ranked as topnotch by many "wine&dine" magazines. The Dinner was a 5 set meal with free flow of Champagne as well as Red+White Wine. Price for this whole dinner was 780 yuan which IS kinda pricy here but it was really worth it.
After SALT I went to 798 where they had made an old factory into a Rave Party by Acupuncture. The countdown on the huge DJ Screen was great and music really nice! Time passed surprisingly fast and suddenly it was 5am and I was home.
