Chinese "Pikkujoulut"

Yesterday was the "small new new" for China. It's like the same thing as we have in Finland with Pikkujoulut but less booze and people don't really go out with their companies the same way here...
I had sea crabs and that huge fish from the bathtub for dinner along with chinese rice booze Maotai. Maotai (same Mao as the famous chairman back in the days of the culture revolution) is the most expensive booze you can buy in China. One bottle of the most cheap Maotai is about 100 euros. You can also buy older ones for 300 euros +++
The taste of Maotai is pretty spicy and it's 56% strong. There are some chinese that are even better drinkers than we finnish :)

It started snowing, yesterday was -3 degrees and today was 8 degrees, changes a lot. Took a picture from my back yard, the big red thing hanging there is a good luck charm. Chinese people buy millions of those charms every new year to wish for better luck next year.

We went to pick up Tommy and Nina from the airport at 1 a'clock in the night. In the restaurant there was some employee sleeping on the table because the place was already closed. I've seen that a lot here that people sleep in restaurants because if your a waiter you will only get a salary of around 150 euro a month and that isn't enough to get an apartment... We tried to go to Bedbar but it was already closed when we arrived, sorry guys. Hope you can stay a little longer next time when you visit me :) Enjoy the snow back home!

Basse! missing you here in KL. All the Busses are called "Bas", and they say it just like you say your name. So you are a Bus here. No big deal. PS I've got a good logistics ppt for you to prep you for your new job. I'll send it over skype. PPS....NOT missing BJ weather right now.
