So far all the people I've met here for the few days being here have been much more nicer and more talkative than the people in Beijing. Maybe it's like in Europe, the people in the south are more talkative while the people up north (like Finland for example) don't talk as much.
The taxi drivers here are a lot nice and cars new. In Beijing they were usually grumpy, smelled bad or had no idea where they were going. Here all of the cabs I've taken so far have known where to go after telling them once and the cars have been really nice (4000 new Volkswagen for the World Expo). Almost all of them also have GPS in case they don't know the way...Maybe this is just beginners luck...Beijing is awesome, don't get me wrong :)
I also went to a friends place here and it was one of the most awesome Chinese homes I've seen. Had everything and an awesome view over the Bund...
Parts of China already look like this...
Foggy but you can see Jin Mao, The Pearl and parts of the World Finance Building which is the highest here (570 meters)
Just next to my place they have a pretty good massage, 1 hour is 48 kuai...so just around 5 Euros and it's open until 1.30 AM! Stress after a long days work? No problem!
Wondering around here is great, you see so many cool buildings and houses like this restaurant here, looks like a castle...
