The motorbike tour is getting to it's end. We have been driving for 6 days now, in total of 704 km already. Driving here is one of the best things ever. We came down from the mountains and today it's been mostly jungle driving. The roads and brigdes are...well whatever.
We start out mornings with the usual local breakfast which is baguette, omelette, freshly squeezed orange juice and some ice coffee. The coffee here is SO SO GOOD! It's almost as thick as syrup and OH! so tasty. We've been having around 4 cups of this stuff daily, on every break when we stop by some beautiful scenery to have a rest in a hammock :)
In the middle of nowhere in the jungle there is a HUGE black meteor-looking rock. Up on the rock it was STORMY! You could literally lean against the wind and the views from up on the rock are just mind blowing...
Because the theme is jungle there is bound to be snakes, right? Yes! We visited a small snake farm and the owner gave us some cobras to play around with. 2 of them were very small and had been hatched recently....But he also had a MASSIVE 30 kg cobra who could easily strangle anything living. He put it around our necks, the skin was cool and very smooth.
Traditional Vietnamese houses in some mountain tribes are build as very long. The more daughters the man has, the longer the house is built. And once a daughter gets married they close a window. So for example, if you see a house with 5 windows and 2 are shut it means the house has 2 married duahgters but STILL 3 available....very good marketing :P This one had 1 open window...
The animals of the family live under the house and I can just imagine how much noise a few cows, chickens and boars make in the night or early mornings...
The stairs on the left is for women because women are stronger than men so they don't need fancy stairs...Haha, we men are so weak!
Views from the village
We visited 3 different waterfalls but some of them were dried out because it's dry season now, the view is pretty you can see...We even went swimming in one of them, the water is really fresh and cool when the air is 30 degrees..
Out for a swim
To get to one of these waterfalls you had to pass this dodgy looking bridge with rusty wires...It was creaking and almost sounded and felt like it was going to give way any second...

So what have we been eating all this time? Everyday street food! It's sooooo delicious here and not to mention, cheap cheap cheap! What they usually serve is some sort of barbecued pork and different variations of chicken. This with rice and some nice hot Vietnamese chilli sauce and Jamie Oliver's food
