Last 2 years I missed the high sakura season because was traveling outside of Japan. But! this year got to see the prime season. Absolutely amazing! A walk around the emperors palace is a scene you don't see anywhere else! I wasn't alone who thought so, thousands of locals and tourists were also at the site.
Some Hanami! Everyone in Japan comes to sit under the sakura trees for drinks and food during this period. Family weekend!
