A short 3 days stay in Sri Lanka starting the trip in Colombo. A city like no other, everything is placed a bit randomly but growth is very fast! So much new hotels are being build here and new Shangri-La hotel just opened last week. Love the old colonial Galle Face Hotel in this city, very few hotels you cna find from 1864 still left as it was back in the days. And so many cool people have stayed here. Chinese building a port by the city center and has leased it for 99 years. Wonder what kinda things they will develop there. India not too happy about this deal....

I opened the Sri Lankan market 1,5 years ago and we have already gotten quite far here! Kapila my man doing the work of 4 guys !
One night I was invited to a 70th Sri Lankan birthday at the Jockey Club. Lots of people singing and dancing. And everyone pouring Johnny Walker on the rocks to themselves. Food was great too!
Stayed the last night at the New Shangri-La. Nice new facilities but the elevator panel broke when I touched it and there were still a lot of Chinese workers fixing stuff. Maybe fully done by next visit.
