When I woke up in the morning all pollution was suddenly gone! The sky was clear blue and air finally breathable. Could not believe it's the same place as yesterday! I remember when I saw some Chinese tourists take picture of the blue sky in Helsinki a few years ago, at that time I thought they were a bit strange. Now I understand why they did it, because you seldom see the sky in Beijing, and when you do, it's seldom clear blue.
The lake is man made! Took a long time to build. The emperors "summer hang around" place
Hilly Roads ahead...
Never been here in snowy weather. Remember Henkka when we were going by the boat under this bridge and some Chinese tourists started to follow and constantly talk to us?
The snowman with bottled hands. The ice started cracking when we were walking on it, rushed away quickly and managed not to drop in. Still, a lot of Chinese were walking around on the ice not minding the cracking sound.
Summer palace walking lane for the Queen back in the days. People in Asia don't like to get tanned because that is associated with "workers"
The Palace on the hills

Fantastic view on this clear day

After walking around the palace get some snacks at Lush. I think I ate here everyday while studying in Wudaokou
Nanluoguxiang, the old Hutongs of Beijing. Hutongs don't have any own toilets, it's all about public toilets that sometimes are everything but fresh

The place where we filmed MITT NYA LAND
Well said
I went to sell 2 of my old cameras and got back about 100 Euros. Used some of those money to finally buy a professional camera that can take awesome pictures and video now!
Can buy second hand cameras for fairly cheap here! This place can be found by taking subway line 1 to Wusong stop and then either walk 10 minutes or take a taxi.
