Had a business meeting in Suzhou today industrial park. The train arrived one hour before I was suppose to meet some people so there was time for a quick lunch and some walking around. There were some strange buildings on the way but the one that caught my eye the most was this "half viking horn" looking building. A chinese guy was talking a long time on the phone behind us but was half under the table, guess he was charging his phone at the same time with a too short charging cable...looked kinda stupid.
Boromir, where are thou?
Found a "red" themed restaurants with Mao pictures on the walls and the waitresses were wearing old styled Mao overalls. One of my my friend who came to Beijing 1994 told me that most people were still wearing these kinds of clothes and it's not even that long time ago. Look how much China has changed!
Food was good thought!
There was also a mall in the center with a huge Spider Man on the wall - Tao Bao city! Inside were the mall there were some clothes and electronics but in small scale
Went to Metro Supermarket after work to buy some food because last time I made food home was ages ago...Had half a pig in the cart, goodie...
