Once again bye bye home for another 6 months or so. Had a 5 hour transfer at Berlin again and took a quick walk around downtown and after that with Malek to Hackescher Markt where they had an awesome Italian place with nice steaks.
Berlin is really beautiful and full of history AND they have the best sandwiches ever! And for the lowest price as well. Bought a bag full of sandwiches before my flight because airplane food is usually crap.

The Tegel airport is one of the worse designed airports I have been to in Europe. It's almost a copy of the one in Moscow and there is no shopping area, only some small kiosk after you entered the security check.
